“Moscow Ballet” Ballerina will be leading a Ballet “Master Class”
In addition to Point being the official studio for Moscow Ballet's Springfield area open auditions for “The Nutcracker” Ballet, now Point will also be hosting “Moscow Ballet Master Classes”. Dancers will learn Ballet techniques from an internationally known ballerina! They will have hands-on Russian-method ballet training and exposure to world-renowned Vaganova ballet technique and additional tips from a professional ballerina who travels and performs around the world. They will learn repertory from classics such as Swan Lake, Cinderella, Romeo and Juliet, and more.
The Moscow Ballet dancer..... teaches students of all experience and skill levels, from beginner to pre-professional.

Singing and Piano Lessons - "Now at Point"
Ms. Victoria is now teaching Voice and Piano lessons. She wants to share her 14 years of singing and piano experience.
Victoria has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Dance Performance from Missouri State University. Victoria sang in a pre-show at the White House theater, in Branson, Missouri in high school and she is trained in dance and vocal performance and also in piano. She has played piano for many competitions and received national honors. She has a love of music and believes wholeheartedly in what it can do for a person’s quality of life; more specifically, the notion of self discovery.

Point is having an Open House, Saturday, August 2nd!
We welcome all our Point Family to our Open House! Come see our changes
and what we plan for the 2014, 2015 Class Season.

Tights n’ Things (will bring all the new shoes, etc) and Creator Designs (Lots of new items with the Point Logo) will be there. Other dance parents, who are business owners , will also have tables set up, so come see them!

Team Parents have put together a Big Basket of items and gift certificates worth $207.00, that will be raffled off. Tickets are one dollar and proceeds will go to the company members who participated.
Ms Trai will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. Some team parents will also be on hand if you want to ask them any questions.
The castle and bounce house will be there for lots of fun!
Time is 10AM till 2PM.

Ms Trai choreographs "Parents Group Dance" for Springfield Catholic Schools, fundraiser: "Dancing with Our Stars"!
Ms. Trai was picked by the Springfield Catholic Schools, Development Board, to choreograph the "Parents Dance" for the annual fundraiser which will be held August 23rd.

Proceeds are raised by voting for your favorite dance team(s) made up of a Catholic Community “dance star” paired with a professional dance instructor. The six dance teams are selected in early spring and practice their dance routine throughout the spring and summer while soliciting votes from supporters at $10 per vote.

Ms. Dara and Ms. Victoria have volunteered to dance with a Catholic Community "dance stars", this year, also.

Point will provide the facilities for the Moscow Ballet Company to hold "open auditions" to girls and boys, (6 to 16 years old), in the Springfield, MO area, for ballet dancing parts in their production of "The Nutcracker". The auditions will be held September 17 through 19th, for the production at the Gillioz Theatre, Monday, December 8th.
